Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KesMic: Invoice & Quote Maker mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by the developer of KesMic: Invoice & Quote Maker ("KesMic", "we", "our" or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Support is provided by email, and we aim to reply within a few working days.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these Terms.
2. The Service
KesMic helps tradespeople, freelancers and small businesses create invoices and quotes, manage customers and products, schedule jobs, record payments and draft documents with AI assistance. We may add, change or remove features over time.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You may sign up with an email and password, or with Google or Apple. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page.
4. Your content and your customers' data
You own the business information, customer details, invoices, quotes, photos and other content you add to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for Your Content and for having a lawful basis to store and use your customers' personal data. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful.
5. Invoices, tax and AI drafts
KesMic is a tool. You are responsible for checking every invoice and quote before you send it, including prices, tax rates, totals, payment terms and legal wording, and for meeting your own tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations. The Service does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice.
AI-drafted invoices and quotes are suggestions generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Review and correct them before use.
6. Plans, subscriptions and free trials
- Free plan. The Service can be used on a free plan with limits (for example on the number of documents per month) and KesMic branding on PDFs.
- Paid plans. Paid plans unlock higher limits and extra features. The plans, features and prices available are shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and charged to that account. Their terms and payment rules also apply. We never receive your card details.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trials. Where offered, a free trial (for example 14 days) becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Each plan's trial can be used once.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep paid features until the end of the current period, then return to the free plan. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a store subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. The store will notify you in advance as its rules require.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for fraud, fake invoices, or any unlawful purpose;
- access other users' data or try to bypass security or plan limits;
- reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or scrape the Service, or misuse the AI features;
- resell or provide the Service to others without our permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat and AI providers, as listed in the Privacy Policy. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
9. Our intellectual property
The app, website, design, logo and the KesMic and KesMic: Invoice & Quote Maker names belong to the developer or the developer's licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your business while you have an account. On iOS, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
10. Availability and backups
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important records; you can download your data in the app (Settings → Download my data) and save or share PDFs at any time.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, or for errors in documents you send. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you used only the free plan, to zero).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. We may also decide to stop offering the Service; if so, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email where possible, so you can download your data, and any active subscriptions will not renew.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
